This is an optical receiver with a 50Gigabits per second (Gbps) Avanlanche Photodiode-Transimpedance Amplifier (APD-TIA) integrated into a TO-46 package. It has been specifically developed for us in high speed data and telecommunication applications that require transmission between 1290nm and 1315nm. This makes it ideal for us in transceivers and transponders.
